Recreation Department sets basketball registration, seeks Special Olympics …
The program, which is offered in both North County and South County locations, will start in January but registration opens on Oct. 3, according to Scott Seeley, of the Indian River County Recreation Department. Children as young as 4, or as old as 15, are eligible to play as part of the league. Teams will be put together once registration has been completed, usually in December, Seeley said.
