OWASSO, Okla. — A police lieutenant in Owasso has been fired after allegation he used excessive force during an arrest. The Tulsa World reports that 46-year-old Michael Denton was fired after an investigation into the arrest, which occurred during the summer. The complaint against the 17-year veteran was lodged by a subordinate, Officer Jonathan Foyil.
