A New York City woman fell to her death while hiking on the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area on Sunday, the National Park Service said on Thursday. Park rangers recovered the body of Kathleen Stein, 67, in Spackmans Creek at about 10 pm Sunday after she was reported missing. Officials believe she fell about 100 feet from a gorge.
