Apple Researching Hydrogen Power
Something for a future holiday wish list: Apple has filed patents for hydrogen-fuel cells that would run computers and smartphones for weeks without refueling. The technology, similar to the hydrogen cells touted as an alternative fuel for cars, would also be smaller and lighter than a battery, and the only byproduct is water. The Telegraph says the patents are the first sign Apple is looking to replace battery technology.
