Windows users are accustomed to the regular security updates for Windows and Internet Explorer that Microsoft pushes on a regular basis. Algae byproduct effecting Lawrence drinking water
Lawrence officials say the citys water is safe, despite an odd taste and smell. The citys utility department says tests found that a byproduct of dead algae is causing the problem. A spokeswoman for the department says the product does not pose any health concerns for people or animals.
